It’s also home to a number of celebrity residences and cultural landmarks, including Frank Lloyd Wright’s Samuel Freeman House and the infamous Magic Castle – a private night club for magicians and magic enthusiasts.

Laurel Canyon
In the sixties, Laurel Canyon earned its lifelong reputation as the home to legendary musicians in Los Angeles, including Joni Mitchell, Frank Zappa, David Crosby, and Jackson Browne, to name only a few. Today, it’s retained its funky vibe and is considered to be an elite area for creative individuals involved in music, film, and the arts.

Its homes are designed in Spanish, Mediterranean, and California modern style, and many feature rustic red tile roofs and beautiful patios for outdoor living.

Hollywood Dell
Also known simply as “The Dell,” this affluent residential neighborhood attracts a mix of professionals, artists, families, and celebrities. As with other areas of the hills, the architecture here is impressive, featuring a mix of Spanish Colonial and Mediterranean Revival. Located quite close to the Hollywood Bowl, some lucky residents can hear the melodies of the philharmonic on quiet summer nights.

Whitley Heights
This quaint, historic neighborhood is beloved by locals for its Old Hollywood charm. The enclave features mature trees and grand old homes built in the style of Spanish Revival, Mediterranean, and American Craftsman. Homes in this area overlook the Hollywood tourist district, including the Walk of Fame, Grauman’s Chinese Theater, and the Hollywood Bowl Amphitheater.
